ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL



Entrepreneurship Development Cell was established in 2007 under the aegis of STEP (Science and Technology Entrepreneurs’ Park). The Entrepreneurship Development Cell is a non-profit organization run by the students supported by administration of BIT Mesra, dedicated to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students of the college and the region. We at EDC host workshops, speaker sessions, innovative games, and competitions in an effort to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship among the students. We aim to support and nurture an entrepreneurial ecosystem through our pitching sessions, networking as well as provision for necessary resources for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The E-Summit is the annual flagship event of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in order to foster the entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial activities in the campus. It aims at bringing investors, venture capitalists, industrial experts, academicians, entrepreneurs, and all those entrepreneurial enthusiasts on a common platform to create an atmosphere for investments, networking, and oportunities.
